Every year, I watch with joy as spring begins to settle on the hill in front of my windows. The green, initially sporadic and shy, finally invades all the vegetation like a powder trail with this tender, almost neon tint soon joined by the white of the first flowers on the branches. A picturesque Prague family session with a lovely Japanese family of four who slightly overestimated the temperature of an early March morning… Continue reading
Prague Winter Photography
The snow seems long gone but I’m glad I had enough determination this winter to wake up before dawn one morning and push my reluctant body out of my warm and cosy sheets to confront the freezing wind on Charles Bridge and maybe even worse for me a small crowd of (mainly male) photographers who had had the same idea as me. Continue reading
The New Aromi | corporate photography
Aromi, Riccardo Lucque’s first restaurant in Prague got a full renovation last fall, when it moved from Manesova to Namesti Miru, undergoing a full transformation from logo, to decor to the available space. Continue reading
Yellow Boots, Big Puddles & Child Photography
It is said that there are two types of photographers, those who make the photograph, and those who wait for the right moment to happen in front of their lens before capturing it without any intervention. I guess I must be 35% of the first type and 65% of the second one. Continue reading
Happy Family Session
A happy family session it was indeed with these hundred balloons as the main prop of this Prague photo shoot! Since her two daughters like balloons so much, B. had the great idea of using them during the session and release them at the very end of it for a picture she wanted to be on her holiday card. I remember this session as a happy whirlwind of hula hoops, cartwheels, and arabesques that S. and F. masterfully executed all the way through these two hours spent in one of the most beautiful parts of Prague. Continue reading
La Bottega | corporate photography
La Bottega Bistroteka is Prague great chef and restaurants owner Riccardo Lucque’s last addition to his Collezione, which includes under the same umbrella restaurants, Italian delicatessen, catering services, and a cooking school. I had the great pleasure to spend a few hours in this lovely neo bistro to create ambiance images of the opening of La Bottega Bistroteka. Riccardo’s botteghe (bottega means shop or workshop in Italian) are half delicatessen where you find fresh pasta, cheese, antipasti, bread, beautiful pastries and wine, half restaurant with a very relaxed yet elegant feel where I would personally have all my meals if I could — Don’t tell my countrymen that I much prefer the Italian cuisine to the French one… —
Angelic Summer Child Portrait | part I

Colourful Summer Family Session
A colourful summer family session it was indeed! This session was in many things very special, since this lovely family was about to leave Prague after 7 years during which their two children were born. Hence it was particularly important for them to keep beautiful memories of their life here and when discussing the location of the shoot during our pre-session meeting, it was a natural choice to select all the locations where they had spent many happy afternoons as a family. Continue reading
Baby Theo | newborn photography
Baby Theo was almost one month old when I photographed him with his parents in their Prague apartment full of books about literature and poetry. Sleep was definitely not on his schedule that day and he made me change all my plans of photographing a blissfully asleep baby. Continue reading
