The weather was extremely nice for this session, which was all at the same time family, child and maternity session.

In order to avoid the crowds, which can be so big on the Charles Bridge, we started very early, at seven in the morning. I had scouted the location and checked the light the day before, as for each of my sessions so as not to be caught off guard the day of the shooting with my clients, and I knew I would be able to do back lit portraits that surround the subjects with such a beautiful halo.
We finished at the entrance of the bridge, in front of the church where the little girl had been baptized two years and a half earlier making the session even more special for this lovely family just about to welcome a new member.

Il faisait extrêmement beau pour cette session toute à la fois famille, enfant et maternité. Afin d’éviter la foule, qui peut être si dense sur le pont Charles, nous avons commencé très tôt à sept heures du matin, et ayant vérifié les lieux et la lumière la veille, comme pour chacune de mes sessions afin de ne pas être prise au dépourvu le jour-même avec mes clients, je savais que je pourrais faire des portraits à contre-jour qui à cette heure matinale (comme en fin de journée) entoure les sujets d’un si beau halo doré. Nous avons terminé la session sur le pont devant l’église où la petite fille avait été baptisée deux ans et demi auparavant, rendant cette séance photographique encore plus mémorable pour cette charmante famille sur le point de s’agrandir.
