Angelic Summer Child Portrait | part I

Props make a wonderful addition to a child portrait session. They federate the portraits around a strong theme and make it possible to tell a story…This pair of angel wings unearthed in a bazaar was the pretext all found for a nice summer session in the countryside, in the heart of an old mill where during the last century was produced the thread for the silk manufacturers of the nearby main town and since turned into an ideal playground for a summer’s time.

N. adores this immense domain where time seems suddenly suspended and where the paths between the bushy hedges and climbing ivy seem to lead to a secret garden. And at the turn of a wall suddenly opens the vegetable garden with its tap water so cool in the heat of the afternoon. Everything is old and made very beautiful by the mark of time.
